The journey will take you to Tarangire National Park one of the homes of the wild, then to Lake Manyara National Park the home of the tree climbing lions, and one of the wonders of the world the Ngorongoro Crater.
The two hours’ drive leads you to Tarangire National Park comprised of seasonal marshes; endless tree savannah with Baobab trees is a home of the elephant. It’s best to visit Tarangire National Park drying the dry season from July to October. This is because Tarangire River is the only source of water during the dry season hence a concentration of wildlife. Through the game viewing in Tarangire National Park you will watch wildlife like Elephants, wildebeests, zebras, lions, antelope, buffaloes, leopards and gazelles. While in Tarangire National Park you will have a wild tasty picnic Lunch then proceed to Maramboi Tented Camp for an overnight and dinner.
Transferring through the multi-cultural town of Mto wa Mbu you will get to Lake Manyara National Park the home of the tree climbing lions. Lake Manyara National Park is a habitat of the long tailed Guenon monkeys, about 500 elephants, baboons, antelopes, gazelles and different bird species. You will have an opportunity to see all these wildlife through the game drive. A tasty lunch is inevitable, then transfer to Karatu which borders Ngorongoro Conservation Area forest for an overnight and dinner.
From Karatu descend into the Ngorongoro crater the world's largest unflooded caldera - a feature formed by the collapse of land following a volcanic eruption is unforgettable. Ngorongoro Crater is a habitat of an estimated 25000 mammals. The caldera is truly amazing and breathtaking with different wildlife which include buffalo, elephants, wildebeest, antelopes, zebras, gazelles, hyena, hippopotami, and warthogs; if lucky you will see the leopards and lions. After a picnic lunch, you will head back to Karatu for an overnight and dinner.
The journey back to Arusha is interesting viewing the beautiful landscape it will start with the highlands to the Rift Valley then to Arusha. Depending on the time of your flight back home you will drive to the airport to catch your flight back home.
