Day 1: Welcome to the Land of Thousand Hills Rwanda is a Land of a Thousand Hills which is in the Great Lakes region of east-central Africa is fertile and hilly terrain land and a home of the Mountain Gorillas. BB Day 2: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park Volcanoes National Park is a home of the Mountain Gorillas and also a home to five of eight volcanoes of Virunga Mountains which include: Muhabura, Karisimbi, Sabyinyo, Bisoke, and Gahinga that are covered by the rainforest and bamboo. Also Volcanoes National Park was the base for Dian Fossey the zoologist. After breakfast, you will drive through the beautiful terraced hillsides to the base of the awesome volcanoes you can have an opportunity to see the five peaks. Dinner and Overnight at Virunga Lodge/Sabyinyo Lodge/Mt Gorilla View Hotel/Kinigi Guest House Day 3: Track the Mountain Gorillas While tracking the gorillas in Volcanoes National Park go through the shady bamboo forest this is a dream come true. Gorilla tracking is an inspiring and wonderful adventure which one can’t miss. The Gorilla is a shy and peaceful animal and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they interact. Depending on how far the gorillas are and the weather, you can either spend with them an hour or take a full day with them. Dinner and Overnight at Virunga Lodge/Sabyinyo Lodge/Mt Gorilla View Hotel/Kinigi Guest House Day 5: Trek the Golden Monkeys Mgahinga Gorilla National Park protects the Virunga Mountainson the Ugandan part and the three peaks and also the home of the Gorillas and the Golden monkeys. This day you will visit the golden monkeys in Mgahinga National Park. Dinner and Overnight at Traveller’s Rest Camp/Kisoro Guest House. Day 6: Journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Camp. Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park which is described as the Switzerland of Africa. Passing through the beautiful landscape, hills and valleys you will get to the home of the Mounatin Gorillas. Dinner and Overnight Buhoma Lodge/Engagi Lodge/Chameleon Lodge/Nkuringo Gorilla Camp/Nkuringo Camp Site. Day 7: Gorilla tracking Experience This morning you will have to wake up very early to get ready for Gorilla tracking one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. There are now only 650 left in the world! Expect to adventurously track through the Impenetrable Forest before you encounter any gorillas which is definitely worthwhile as you observe them closely while they eat, play with the young ones, rest and act like Humans.
